OOTD: You Could Be My Flamingo, Cause Pink Is The New Kinda Lingo

Last week I met a great photographer Candace Sweet from Sweet Reflection’s Photography. She and I hit it off right away and decided to form a partnership and she will now be my photographer for all outfit posts. We had our first shoot this weekend and took some shots of some of the new clothes I have received to review and some of my other stuff for some good old outfit posts! We had a fantastic time shooting those outfits and took over 150 frames. So be prepared because from now on you will be seeing a lot more of me and the looks I love, and love to wear!

Today we have the Pink Ruffled Tube Dress from Jen’s Fashion Plus

When Jen asked me to pick an item from her store to review I was instantly attracted to this dress, its such a fun color and I love the ruffle detail. Jen’s Fashion Plus items are true to size and this is a size 3x on my typical size 22 frame. Make sure you follow the measurements because I didn’t (SIZE DENIAL!) and as you can see this dress was a bit tight in the tummy on me. I loved the stretch ruffled fabric though and I’m sure with some Spanx this would probably fit better and hide the muffin top a bit, but oh well I love my stomach and I still think I look pretty HAWT!
This dress came with a black ribbon but I felt like rockin it out a bit and used my Torrid heart shaped corset belt instead. I also decided to show a little less skin and paired it with a thrifted black tee I picked up for $3 and my Torrid black laced ankle leggings. I also wore my bomber jacket from Yours Clothing and my Payless black wedges and gave it a retro vibe.
We shot these photos at The West Side Drive In in Boise. It is a classic burger joint and I was instantly drawn to the fun bright colors and art work to go with this dress!
Make sure to check out Jen’s Fashion Plus for great items and new items every Friday and follow her on Facebook, Twitter and on her blog at Passion For Plus Size Fashion. I have another dress from Jen’s Fashion Plus that I will be reviewing later this week, stay tuned!

CUTE dress! I think it looks best with the jacket though because that draw the eye to cut off right at your waist, which is a good spot. But yeah it looks good! I think it's great that bigger girls aren't hiding around in baggy sweatshirts anymore. We can show off our bodies in fun clothes too! :)
