Today, there is a Donna Ricco sale, and there are some plus size goodies there too. I think that these sample sale sites are finally getting the picture that the plus size fashionistas want to shop also!

Fatbulously Frugal - Kohl's Edition

I was just complaining the other night to my friend how Dana Buchman is a plus size designer and doesn’t have her clothing line at Kohl’s in plus sizes. Then I got an email from Kohl’s saying how you can get $10 Kohl’s Cash for every $50 you spend. a sign from the shopping Gods... That’s an awesome deal because those are coupons right in your hand for future use.
CHECK OUT THE POLYVORE HERE!
Anyway, I love Kohl’s for some super cute plus size fashions. I hit the website and to my amazement and HAPPINESS, I see Dana Buchman has come to her senses and started showing some of her clothes in plus sizes, and they’re on sale! I am going to run and peruse through my local Kohl’s! You do the same and let me know what you find!

Fatbulously Frugal: Lord and Taylor - A Basement Affair
So, there’s this little store called Lord and Taylor...

Maybe you have heard of it? I used to shop there all the time. They had an awesome Plus Size department and some insane deals. Then I stopped. I am not really sure why, but I did. So, one day a friend of mine was looking for a cocktail dress and I remember getting some insane gowns and dresses there over the years for dirt cheap. In the dress/plus size department was something my eyes had never seen before. My heart skipped a beat and my friend and I launched into a full sprint. It was a huge clearance section. Everything in the store that was on last call was down there. I rummaged and grabbed. Each item has a colored dot on it and you check the dot for the coordinating discount. I got a Tadashi cocktail gown for $40. I kid you not. It fit like a glove. I had snagged some boot cut dark wash Calvin Klein jeans for $10. Calvin Klein also awarded me a sweater for the rummage for $4. Yes.. you are not reading it incorrectly. It was insane. The only stipulation, FINAL SALE. That was so not a problem when there were big inviting dressing rooms ready for me to pull on and off in. My advice, if you feel like rummaging, and bargain hunting.. go to your nearest Lord and Taylor and hit the basement. You may find your dream dress for pennies!

Fatbulously Frugal - Torrid Coupons
The reason why this is amazing is because I am going away at the end of March with my hubby and I need to get some sexy warm weather clothing. I have some cute stuff already packed (I know, I am insane) but I want to update with some cute new tops.
Do you ladies love tunics? How do you rock them?

Fatbulously Frugal - Lane Bryant Edition
So, today I had some of my spies out shopping and the day went like this. The outlets were a bust. Macy’s was a bust. Nordstrom, a bust.. See a trend?
Success was found at Lane Bryant where they are having their gold dot sale. Icon pieces were down to practically nothing and that made the spies very happy!
Here are some items that they picked up...
Some of these goodies were on sale for $12.99 like I said, and the lovely ladies at Menlo Park Lane Bryant gave our spies a coupon also so their entire purchase came out to $50! I don’t know about you, but I think that is a super score!
Did any of you get awesome sales this week?

Fatbulously Frugal - Valentines Day Edition
Hello SKORCH readers,
I am so excited to be able to bring you some excellent sales each week. Ranging anywhere from web sales and secret coupons, to sample sale invites. I am a HUGE fan of sales. I will never buy anything full priced or without a coupon. With that being said...
Check out these following sites and don’t forget to pamper yourself for Valentine’s Day! Single or taken, you still deserve it!
Fatbulously Frugal Fanny
Valentine's day is coming and everyone wants some pretty undergarments. I
love being fancy every day, but certain days of the year, like Valentine's
day I will pull out the full arsenal. These three websites are having
beautiful valentine's day sales.
I am have been a big fan of Evans.co.uk for years. The two things that I
must note with them is the sizing guide and the price conversion. Please
check the size guide for your bras and panties as this company is housed in
the UK. I have a penchant for old school styles in bras and panties. Very
retro 1950's.
Torrid.com has some naughties that are definitely worth taking a look at. Ilove their website and it is easy to navigate and the sales are fantastic!
Check them out and let me know what you picked up!
**UPDATE 2/11/10: Get 10% Off Any Order at Torrid by using the code 10OFFTD21**
HipsandCurves.com was voted Instyle’s Best of the Web 2009 and for good reason. They are devoting an entire section to Valentine’s Day inspired underpinnings under $20!
Bedheadpjs.com has some beautiful pajamas. Having one pair of the jammiesmyself, I can attest to their quality. You can get a good deal if you sign up for their emails.

Wallet Pop - Lovers giving less this Valentine's Day
Lovers giving less this Valentine's Day
Josh Smith
A new survey of by PayPal confirms that people are spending less on each other this year than they did before the economy took a crash but that doesn't mean they have stopped giving gifts altogether. The majority of men who took part in the survey reported that they wished they could give more to their special someone this year which may be due to the fact that nearly half of consumers will spend less than $50 this year. Thankfully, only 28% of women reported that they would like to receive more on Valentine's Day, so for the most part couples should be able to enjoy each others company on Feb. 14.
PayPal's Can't Buy Me Love survey also showed that George Clooney and Megan Fox topped the list of celebrities you would want Cupid to hit with an arrow. It's not all love though, Kanye West better work on a Valentine's Day auto-tuned hit otherwise he might be spending the day alone as he was voted the celebrity that people would least like to see on Valentine's Day.
Another interesting bit of information from the survey revealed the differences in valentine spending between single people and those in relationships which is shown on the graph below.
If you're planning to spend less this year then you're in luck. Not only are retailers trying to get as much of your $50 as they can, but PayPal and Bing Cashback are upping the discounts to make you look good this year.PayPal has many discounts for Valentine's Day gifts including the following:
- 20% off and a free vase at ProFlowers
- 25% off on gifts at RedEnvelope
- $50 off purchases of $300 or more at Zales.com
- 10% off at Blue Nile
- 20% off of a six-month subscription from eHarmony
- Up to 55% off retail rates from Hotwire
- And more
Bing is also turning up the heat on Bing Cashback deals for Valentine's Day including:
- 30% Bing cashback from Ice.com
- 30% Bing cashback from Flora Flora
- 25% Bing cashback from Ghirardelli Chocolates
- 20% Bing cashback from Gap, including Old Navy and Banana Republic
- 20% Bing cashback from Sephora and Beauty.com
- And more
