So I have mentioned this dress from ASOS Curve before, but have never done any pics on it. This dress is one of my favorite pieces I have ever owned. It is bright, structured, a little bit crazy for my current local, and absolutely fabulous! This dress brings a smile to my face every time I see it hanging in my closet and also puts and extra spring in my step every time I wear it. ASOS Curve is such a great line and the quality of their clothing is amazing. The fit is also impeccable. Normally it can be a bit tricky for me ordering from the UK with my size, especially because I tend to fit in smaller dress sizes then i do anything else. I ordered this in a 22UK and it fits ideally with a loose quality I can enjoy for Spring, especially with the fabulous light fabric, but can be structured with a corset belt like I did today.
The corset belt i’m wearing today came from Torrid with this dress that I love as well and is now on CLEARANCE! My black cotton leggings with lace bottoms are also from Torrid and I don’t think I could live without them. My wedge peeptoes are from Payless. It was a bit cold out today so I added my black bomber from Yours Clothing to completely the look.
I am feeling great in this look, and it is even effecting my mood, i feel full of sunshine and energy and I think that is in large part to the ASOS Curve Dress. I can’t wait until I have some shopping money again so I can purchase more from them. I especially have my eye on thisthis and this. Another great thing about ASOS Curve is that Vanessa Reece has been hired on as their new fit model. She has a great curvy body and I know that the clothes are going to fit even better and be even more amazing with her involvement!
Kiss the Curves 2010 came to the the Historic Sweets Ballroom in Oakland, California on February 6th and provided a full-figured view of the utter fabulousness created when plus-sized beauty and contemporary fashion collide.

Kiss the Curves, the brainchild of plus model/actress/writer Tracie Collins, featured creations by designers Igigi, Corinthia Peoples, Ashley Stewart, Chocolate Sushi Couture, Marie Denee, A Clothes Mind, Tru Diva, and Isles of Paradise. Each designer brought their own uniquely flavored representation of plus sized fashion into the show. The lines ranged from chic, current business casual; to phenomenally sexy, yet tasteful full-figured lingerie. The models presented in Kiss the Curves ranged in size from 6 to 26. The one thing in common had by all of the models: fabulous CURVES!

FINALE:
Tracie Collins, the creator and executive producer of Kiss the Curves was fierce in her finale. In lingerie by Isles of Paradise, she commanded the stage in an all-black leather ensemble, including a leash attached to a gorgeous male model.
Kiss the Curves wrapped with a march of the entirety of models cast in the show, flaunting their curvy confidence. With every size and shape of plus sized women present, every full-figured woman was exceptionally represented in this show.

Events like Kiss the Curves are essential to suitably coalesce the fashion world with plus-sized real women. Kiss the Curves represented the true, full range of both the plus-sized figure, as well as the fashion that women with curves can appreciate. This show was a breath of fresh air. It did not surrender plus-sized women to the homely frocks of yesteryear designed to cover up voluptuous frames. Instead, it embraced both curves AND fashion, and gave women with real bodies the opportunity to visualize the tremendous range of fabulous fashion possibilities that are not always commercially represented. Kudos to Tracie Collins for sharing this dream with the rest of the world, and bringing her vision to life for all to see.

This foundation comes in 16 shades covering a variety of skin tones. They are numbered and named; the lightest shade being #15 Alabaster and the darkest being #90 Chocolate. Here is what Sephora.com says regarding the product:

Although this foundation provides full coverage, the end result is completely adjustable to fit your needs - a little goes a long way.
I have tried pretty much every foundation you can think of that claims to have oil-free/long-lasting/shine controlling qualities. If they don't break me out or melt off of my face, they usually don't provide enough coverage. As I've mentioned before, with my pale skin any blemish can scar and those scars are very tough to cover let alone get rid of. This line has a great color range and does what it says it will. The coverage never looks like a mask but it does a good job (the only true full coverage makeup is called Photoshop) and doesn't break me out.
Despite the Florida heat and humidity, this foundation holds up well and also photographs well. If you wanted a sheerer coverage you can apply with a damp sponge but I like my skin even and smooth, so I go for full coverage. I know $34 is a lot for foundation, but if your skin doesn't look good, then it won't matter what the rest of your makeup looks like--you need that perfect canvas.
I have learned not to skimp on two things: foundation and skincare. You can buy drugstore lip products and eyeshadows, but make sure your skin products are top notch! MUFE is a great line overall and many of their products are worth checking out--especially Mat Velvet +!
