OOTD: My Boyfriend's Back, And He's Gonna Save My Reputation

Ok now we all know I don’t have a boyfriend, that I don’t even like boys in the first place, and that I am madly in love with the very wonderful and very female Night Rider. However, I do love the new “boyfriend inspired” trends as of late,  especially how they translating to plus size fashion! I have been on the hunt for the perfect and affordable boyfriend blazer and boyfriend jeans and am still looking (i’m a perfectionist) but I did get lucky enough to find  the perfect boyfriend cardigan a couple of weeks ago!

I found the new love of my life, the wonderful gray boyfriend sweater in the clearance section at you guessed it ASOS Curve and new I had to have it! I was so pleased when I received this cardigan and was amazed at how wonderfully comfortable it is! It is well made, just like everything else at ASOS Curve, and I love the round hem on the back. It is very flattering on the body and can be worn with dresses or with a t-shirt and jeans. I like it best with the sleeves pushed up so it doesn’t look to slouchy, and I absolutely that it has buttons all the way up to the top of the neckline. For the shoot outside Lucy’s Coffee Shop in Boise I wore the boyfriend cardi with my favorite little black dress from Torrid. This dress fits the body perfectly and accentuated the curves with a  fitted v-neck bodice and a tulip skirt. I added my Torrid Heart Shaped Corset Belt to give the look a little bit more dimension and my black Torrid leggings and black, gray and white plaid peeptoe heels that I also picked up a couple of years ago from you guessed it again Torrid as well. I accessorized with my new favorite bracelet from designer Amy Radue and left the look simple. It would be great for running weekend errands or grabbing a cup of coffee or lunch with friends!

First of all, great hair! I am a huge fan of boyfriend cardis, and you did a fantastic job of pulling the look off without appearing too "slouchy" (my big problem). My fave pic is at the coffee table!
